Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
She was initially inspired by shadows reflected on grass. A few months later she devised a process which did not render the chosen object on canvas as an image that was flat. The object becomes a representation that is its own while the canvas is carrying an interpretation by painting of the object. This is especially true in the case of a living object or perishable for example, fruit or humans. Alexa Meade's paintings are ephemeral and the image is the only thing that is left. The painting and photography techniques are closely coordinated and result in a flat, two-dimensional space which achieves trompe-l'oeil. The only areas of the photo like hair and eyes, show the 3D dimension. Meade has integrated her painted models within the space of 3D that surrounds the models. The interaction between them and the created environment is conceivable. This eliminates the distinctions between painting, photography and installation.
