Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to earn 4 gold medals. She also won the world title for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her sister Adria were adopted by their grandparents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to the sport by her daycare instructor Aimee Borman, when she was 6 years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles has won gold and bronze medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 in the elite division of gymnastics competition. In less than two years, she had become the top athlete in her field. Biles stood out for her consistently consistent and having a lively and energetic personality and incorporating the most difficult of exercises in all of her competitions vaulting uneven floor workouts.
